Heavy Duty Mining Grease NLGI 2 Moly 5% EP
Sinopec Heavy Duty LC Mining Grease is an extreme pressure grease formulated with a lithium complex soap thickener and high viscosity mineral base oil, available in NLGI 1 and NLGI 2 grades. It contains rust and oxidation inhibitors, EP and antiwear additives, along with 5% solids including molybdenum disulfide (MoS2, or "moly"), which provide additional wear protection especially under the severe vibrating or oscillating conditions found in many mining applications.
Engineered for off-road mining equipment, particularly slow-moving plain and rolling element bearings operating under very high loads, shock loading and vibrating or oscillating conditions, this grease also suits heavy duty construction, earthmoving, mobile and stationary equipment. The lithium complex thickener delivers a high dropping point and excellent mechanical stability across an operating range of −10°C to +150°C, while strong water resistance and rust protection keep the grease in place and protect components in wet, difficult-to-access applications requiring long lubrication intervals.
Formulated to Sinopec specification SHRH YXY 5165-2010, this grease is available in NLGI grade 1, suited to centralised lubrication systems where good pumpability is required, and NLGI grade 2, for general heavy-duty application.
