Sinopec Tulux T700 E9/CK-4 10W-30 Diesel Engine Oil is a low-SAPS heavy-duty diesel engine oil formulated with synthetic-technology base oils and an advanced additive system to meet ACEA E9 and API CK-4 performance requirements. The SAE 10W-30 viscosity grade delivers improved low-temperature cranking performance and reduced internal friction compared to 15W-40, supporting measurable fuel economy improvements in fleets where a lighter viscosity grade is specified by the OEM. The product provides a TBN of 8.5 with controlled sulphated ash, an HTHS viscosity of 3.4 cP, and a pour point of -42°C with CCS viscosity of 6550 cP at -25°C, confirming excellent cold-start capability. Fully backwards compatible with older heavy-duty diesel engines not fitted with after-treatment systems.

The 200L drum is suited to fleet depots and workshop facilities specifying an SAE 10W-30 low-SAPS engine oil for modern Euro V and VI diesel vehicles on scheduled maintenance intervals. The drum format provides better value per litre than the pail and is compatible with standard drum pumps for efficient dispensing.

Technical reference: SAE 10W-30 E9 Diesel Engine Oil

Key Features

  • Acid and corrosion control. TBN of 8.5 with controlled sulphated ash neutralises combustion acids while maintaining compatibility with DPF and SCR after-treatment systems throughout extended drain intervals.
  • Engine wear protection. HTHS viscosity of 3.4 cP maintains a reliable protective oil film at valve train, piston ring and cylinder liner contact surfaces while delivering reduced internal friction and improved fuel economy compared to heavier viscosity grades.
  • Deposit control. Advanced dispersant and detergent chemistry maintains piston crown, ring groove and valve train cleanliness under continuous high-speed, high-load operation, supporting extended drain intervals in Euro VI applications.
  • Cold-start performance. Pour point of -42°C and CCS viscosity of 6550 cP at -25°C confirm rapid oil circulation and reliable engine protection from start-up in cold UK ambient conditions.
  • After-treatment system protection. Low-SAPS formulation meets Euro V and VI requirements, protecting DPF and SCR systems from ash-related blockage and extending after-treatment service life.
  • Mixed-fleet versatility. Backwards compatible with API CJ-4, CI-4 Plus and earlier specifications, suitable for mixed fleets operating both legacy and modern Euro VI engines on a single viscosity grade.

Applications

Sinopec Tulux T700 E9/CK-4 10W-30 Diesel Engine Oil is recommended for modern four-stroke heavy-duty diesel engines fitted with EGR, DPF or SCR exhaust after-treatment systems where the OEM specifies an SAE 10W-30 low-SAPS lubricant for Euro V and Euro VI compliance. Particularly suited to fuel economy-focused fleet operations and OEM applications where a lighter viscosity grade is specified to meet fuel consumption targets. Suitable for on-highway and off-highway applications including haulage, bus and coach, construction, mining, agriculture and marine.

For guidance on transitioning your fleet to Sinopec Tulux T700, see our Heavy Duty Diesel Fleet Technical Transition Guide. For viscosity grade selection guidance, see what happens if you use 10W-30 instead of 15W-40. Also available in Tulux T700 E9 15W-40 for applications where a heavier viscosity grade is required.
